We are the Newent Beekeepers Association!
This is a Branch of the Gloucestershire Bee Keepers Association, which is affiliated to the British Bee Keepers Association (BBKA). All these associations exist to promote and further the craft of beekeeping.
Members meet to increase their understanding of bee keeping, discuss current developments and share in their successes as well as disappointments. We have regular meetings with visiting speakers and talks by our own members. Members also give advice to the public on beekeeping matters.
If you have any questions you can use the contact form to ask them.
Membership fees for the year 1st October 2021 to 30th September 2022 are £34.50 for full membership, £25.00 for Partner member, £13.75 for Junior ,and £10.00 for Social member. To pay for membership please complete the membership form.

Would you like to help bees?
Colony honey bees are not endangered in most areas of the UK. Solitary bees and other pollinators are endangered due to the use of pesticides, habitat destruction, and other causes. We can all help by:
1) Not using pesticides
2) Leaving some wild areas in our gardens
3) Reducing light pollution
Even wasps have their place in the wild environment.
INDOOR MONTHLY BRANCH MEETINGS are now being held but the location may vary. Normally they are held in the 6th Form Centre of Newent Community School, Watery Lane, Newent, GL18 1QF starting at 19:30 on the last Thursday of the month.
Please use the contact form above for more information.
